Prior to its Big East series at Georgetown, the University of Cincinnati Bearcats visited Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. After being greeted by tour guides, the coaches and player met several injured war veterans at the facility. click here for photo gallery

The Big Ten Network will televise its first game of the spring on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET as Northwestern plays at Ohio State. The game will be followed by Big Ten Diamond Report, a weekly studio show covering baseball and softball. Hosts Mike Hall and Rick Pizzo will be joined by former Iowa pitcher and major leaguer Cal Eldred.

Radford will open its new baseball facility on April 8 against VMI. The grandstand includes 700 chair-backed seats from dugout to dugout. Fans can bring lawn chairs and blankets for the grass-covered seating area on the left-field line. There will be pregame ceremonies and the Highlanders will hold an autograph session following the contest.

Georgia Southern will hold its Alumni Weekend May 6-8 during its Southern Conference series with Wofford. Julio Ayala and Brett Lewis will be added to the Wall of Fame and the SoCon championship teams of 1996, 2000 and 2001 will be recognized.

The four-game series between North Dakota State and North Dakota has been postponed due to weather and field conditions.
