2012 Coaching Changes  

 

Lo Ricco named interim head coach at Harvard

 

Harvard assistant coach Tom Lo Ricco has been named interim head coach while the school conducts a national search for a new head coach.

 

Lo Ricco enters his eighth year with the Crimson and has been recruiting coordinator for his entire tenure with former head coach Joe Walsh, who died unexpectedly on July 31.

 

Before coming to Harvard, Lo Ricco was assistant coach at Western New England for the 2005 season. He was head coach at Westfield State and Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. He also coached at Wofford, Massachusetts and Springfield.

 

Lo Ricco earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Massachusetts in 1987, while receiving a master’s degree in athletic administration in 1995 from Springfield.
