2012 Coaching Changes  

 

Joslyn named head coach at Chicago State

 

Northern Illinois associate head coach Steve Joslyn has been hired as head coach at Chicago State.

 

Joslyn spent the past 10 years at NIU with head coach Ed Mathey. Joslyn was promoted to associate head coach in 2008. He helped recruit three nationally-ranked recruiting classes. The Huskies reached the Mid-American Conference Tournament five times and posted 255 wins, including 70-33 against Illinois in-state Division I opponents.

 

A native of Oswego, Ill., Joslyn earned a degree in health, physical education and recreation from North Central College in 1986. He also coached at Aurora University and several high schools before becoming an assistant at North Central in 1996.
