2013 Coaching Changes

Golloway Named Head Coach at Auburn

Sunny Golloway (left), head coach at Oklahoma for the past eight years, has been named head coach at Auburn.

Golloway took the Sooners to seven NCAA Tournaments with four Super Regional appearances and one trip to the College World Series in 2010.

Prior to his time in Norman, Golloway spent eight seasons leading the program at Oral Roberts. In 16 seasons as a head coach, Golloway posted a record of 681-337-1 (.669) and reached 40 wins 12 times.

This past season, Oklahoma was 43-21 with a Big 12 Tournament crown, a regional win in Blacksburg and a super regional loss at LSU.

Auburn was 33-23 overall this past season and 13-17 in the SEC. The Tigers were eliminated in the first round of the SEC Tournament and did not receive an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. John Pawlowski was relieved of his duties after five years as head coach at Auburn.
