After putting together a 4-0 week, North Carolina remains the unanimous No. 1 in the CollegeBaseballInsider.com Composite Poll.

The Tar Heels defeated Coastal Carolina on Monday and swept a three-game series from Stony Brook over the weekend. Friday's game was washed out, but UNC won once on Saturday and twice on Sunday. UNC is first in all five polls.

Arkansas went 5-0 in Fayetteville to stay in second. The Razorbacks swept a doubleheader from New Orleans before taking three from Evansville over the weekend. Arkansas is second in four polls and third in the other.

Vanderbilt also went 5-0 to hold onto third. The Commodores won at Belmont and defeated Central Arkansas before sweeping a three-game set from Monmouth. Vanderbilt is second in one poll and third in the other four.

LSU had a 3-1 week, defeating Lamar and Southeastern Louisiana, but splitting a pair with BYU. The Tigers are fourth in four polls and ninth in the other.

Oregon State rose one spot to No. 5. The Beavers beat UC Riverside before sweeping a four-game series at San Diego State. OSU is fifth in three polls, sixth in one and seventh in the other.

Oklahoma and Arizona both rose three spots, the Sooners to No. 16 and the Wildcats to No. 17. UCLA won two of three at Baylor, but fell three places to eighth.

Cal State Fullerton enters the poll at No. 18 after a midweek win over Pepperdine and a weekend sweep at TCU. Florida dropped out of the poll after a 1-4 week, with a home loss to Georgia Southern and a three-game sweep at the hands of FGCU.

The CBI Composite Poll contains seven teams from the SEC, including three of the top four. There are five from the Pac-12, four from the ACC and single entries from the Big East, Big 12, Big West and Conference USA.

Why a composite poll? CBI felt that five national polls was enough. Plus, each week you find discrepancies that make it tough to gauge where a team really is. This week's example: Louisville is No. 4 in one poll, No. 23 in another.

Feb. 18: 1. North Carolina, 2. Arkansas, 3. Vanderbilt, 4. LSU, 5. UCLA

Preseason Poll: 1. Arkansas, 2. North Carolina, 3. Vanderbilt, 4. LSU, 5. UCLA
