Notes: The Gamecocks are undefeated in postseason play at Carolina Stadium with a 16-0 record since the stadium was built in 2009. This is the fifth straight home Regional and 29th Regional appearance in program history. The 15 consecutive trips to the NCAA Tournament, which began in 2000, is the longest current streak in the SEC. The Gamecocks have a pair of national championships, winning back-to-back titles in 2010 and 2011. The program has made 11 College World Series appearances with six coming since the 2002 season. South Carolina leads the SEC in pitching with a 2.37 ERA with LSU right behind at 2.42. The Gamecocks are second in the league in fielding percentage, behind Mississippi State, with 54 errors on the season. Starting right fielder Connor Bright (elbow) and starting second baseman Max Schrock (back) have both missed significant portions of the end of the season. The status of both players for the Columbia Regional is in question. Five players with at least 13 appearances have an ERA of less than 1.35 on the season.
