Titans Top Collegiate
Baseball Preseason Poll
 Cal
State Fullerton is the top team in the nation in the
Collegiate Baseball Preseason Poll.
The Titans finished 51-10 a season ago, falling
in the Fullerton Super Regional to eventual national champion
UCLA.
National runner-up Mississippi State was second
in the poll, followed by LSU, Oregon State, Florida State,
Oregon, Indiana, Louisville, Vanderbilt and NC State.
There are eight teams in the Top 40 from the SEC,
six from the ACC and Pac-12, five from the Big 12, three from
the Big West, two from the Big South and Conference USA, and one
from the American, Big Ten, Missouri Valley, Mountain West, Ohio
Valley, Southern, Sun Belt and West Coast.
The 2014 regular season begins eight weeks from
today on Friday, Feb. 14.
