Skole also played football, leading the Southern Conference in interceptions in 1990. Senior pitcher Kerry Doane has been remarkable, going 13-1 and tossing an NCAA-leading 12 complete games; opponents hit .232 off of Doane, who won two games in the A-Sun tourney, including the clincher. Clinton Freeman put together a tremendous season as a two-way player, leading the team in batting, homers and RBI and also going 7-1 on the mound with eight saves. Three Bucs have stolen more than 20 bases: Andrew Green (24); Dylan Tritsch (20) and Jeremy Taylor (20).
