In Bronx, N.Y., freshman Zak Sterling tossed a complete-game, four-hit shutout, and battery-may Chris Cowell went 2 for 3 with a first-inning, three-run homer as Richmond knocked off Saint Louis. Sterling (7-1) worked out a pair of bases-loaded jams and struck out five in his gem. The Spiders (29-24) rattled Alex Alemann (7-2) immediately after a rain delay of 3:56, with Adam McConnell (2 for 4) doubling and Jacob Mayers (2 for 3) walking before Cowell ripped his 20th homer of the year. The Spiders play the winner of Dayton and St. Joseph’s, while Saint Louis moves to the losers’ bracket.

 

Josh Jeffery singled up the middle to score Robby Sunderman in the bottom of the 13th inning – at 12:49 a.m. – as Dayton slipped past St. Joseph’s. Ian Hundley went 4 for 6 with two RBI to lead the Flyers, who meet Richmond in the winners’ bracket final. Kyle Mullen struck out 12 in a strong start for St. Joe’s, which has to turn around 11 hours after last pitch to meet Rhode Island at 11 a.m.

In Greensboro, N.C., Brandon Cogswell brought in the decisive run with a bases-loaded walk as Virginia edged Clemson. Trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the eighth, the Cavaliers (37-16-1) worked the bases loaded before Chris Taylor was hit by a pitch by Mike Kent (0.2 IP, H, 2 ER, K) and Cogswell drew a walk from Scott Firth. Virginia’s Branden Kline lasted seven innings, allowing four hits and one run while striking out five.  John McGibbon was 2 for 4 with a solo homer for the Tigers (32-25).

 

In the second game, Stephen Ewing outdueled Kent Emanuel as Miami defeated North Carolina. Ewing (6-2) worked eight innings, allowing eight hits, two earned runs and striking out four. Stephen Perez went 2 for 3 with a double and three runs for the Hurricanes (35-20). Emmanuel (8-4, 6 H, 5 R, 4 ER, 2 BB) lasted seven innings and struck out nine. Tommy Coyle and Chaz Frank both had two hits for the Tar Heels (43-14).

 

In the final game of the day, Grant Shambley drove in two runs to help Wake Forest beat NC State. Trea Turner (3 for 5) helped the Wolfpack (39-16) jump out to an early lead when he hit a solo home run to lead off the game. With the game tied at 2 in the bottom of the third, Shambley came through with a pinch-hit two-run double for the Demon Deacons (33-23). Solid nights from Charlie Morgan (2 for 4, R, RBI) and Mark Rhine (2 for 3, 2 R) provided ample run support for starting pitcher Jack Fischer. Fischer (8 IP, 8 H, 3 ER, 3 BB, 5 K) pitched into the ninth and struck out five to earn the win

In Clearwater, Fla., Sean Hagan (right) allowed one run in 7.1 innings, and Jimmy Brennan went 3 for 4 with two RBI as St. John’s advanced to the semifinal round. Charlie Markson went 4 for 5 with a homer, two RBI and four runs, and Will Hudgins tossed seven shutout innings with four hits and five strikeouts as Notre Dame eliminated Rutgers. Joe Hudson and Alex Robinson each drove in two, and Hudgins’ brother Mac added two hits for the Fighting Irish (30-27). 

 

Jimmy Falla had three hits and three RBI as USF erupted for eight runs in eliminating Pittsburgh. Luis Llerena, James Ramsay and Zac Gilcrease each drove in a pair of runs for the Bulls (35-21). Boo Vazquez went 2 for 4 with three RBI for the Panthers (28-28).

 

Great West

In Orem, Utah, Jake Rickenbach went 4 for 5 with four RBI and Goose Kallunki hit his 18th home run while driving in five runs as Utah Valley downed North Dakota. The Wolverines (46-12) will play for their third straight Great West Conference Tournament championship after their win over the Sioux (19-36). Kallunki raised his nation-leading RBI total to 86. Preston Olson (8-0) picked up the win after giving up two runs on five hits in 5.1 innings. Tyler Ruemmele (1-7) took the loss after walking four and giving up five runs on eight hits in 3.2 innings. Zack Trygstad went 3 for 5 with one RBI for North Dakota.

 

Tyler Hoelscher (5-4) tossed eight innings for Houston Baptist in which he allowed only three runs on 13 hits and struck out four in the win over Chicago State. The Cougars (13-40) were able to put on 17 base runners but were only able to score four of them in the loss to the Huskies (26-32). Eric Hall (1-6) took the loss after giving up three earned runs on seven hits in six innings. Jake Gonzalez went 3 for 4 with three RBI for HBU.

 

Adam Hilker only had two hits for Northern Colorado, but they proved to be huge as he finished the day going 2 for 6 with four RBI in the win over Texas-Pan American. There was no pitchers' duel here as both the Bears (27-32) and the Broncs (30-22) combined for 29 hits and 27 runs. Chris Hammer (6-2) picked up the win after throwing a 0.1 inning of shutout baseball for Northern Colorado. Guadalupe Barrera (0-3) took the loss after giving up two runs on three hits over 1.1 innings. Vincent Mejia went 2 for 3 with three runs and four RBI for UTPA.

 

America East

#1 Stony Brook 7, #3 Binghamton 4

In Stony Brook, N.Y., Travis Jankowski had two hits, two runs and one RBI as Stony Brook downed Binghamton to remain undefeated in the America East Tournament. The Seawolves (45-11) added to a 3-2 lead with four in the seventh. Brandon McNitt (8-2, 6 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 1 BB, 3 K) picked up the victory, while James Campbell (3 IP, 2 H, 2 R, 1 BB, 3 K) earned his third save. Mike Danaher drove in three for the Bearcats (23-25).

In the third game of the day, Andrew Valencia capped off a two-run bottom of the ninth with an RBI single to push FGCU past Mercer. The Eagles (26-29) held an early 2-0 lead thanks to RBI singles from Brandon Bednar (3 for 3) and Mike Reeves (1 for 3, 2 BB). However, the Bears (38-20) scored three in the top of the seventh after a two-run double from Travis Benn (1 for 4) and a RBI single from Logan Gaines (1 for 3). After a pair of singles in the bottom of the ninth, Bednar drove in the tying run with a sacrifice fly before Valencia (1 for 5) came through with a single to right center. FGCU’s Jason Forjet (9 IP, 4 H, 3 ER, 2 BB, 11 K) improved to 2-4 with an impressive complete-game effort. In the second game, Kevin Kyle threw seven effective innings as Kennesaw State edged out a victory over Belmont. Kyle (7 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 2 K) picked up the win and improved to 3-4. The Owls (32-24) broke through in the seventh and eighth innings, scoring single runs in each frame to take a 3-1 lead. Ronnie Freeman was 2 for 4 with a RBI. The Bruins (36-22) did not take full advantage of five Kennesaw State errors, but Matt Beaty was a bright spot, going 2 for 4 with a walk.

 

In the day’s first game Will Dorsey fired a two-hitter as Stetson eliminated USC Upstate. Dorsey (8-5, 9 IP 2 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 2 K) was able to give the Hatters’ (35-22) bullpen a rest after Stetson dropped a 15-inning affair to Belmont late Wednesday night. Stetson’s Kurt Schluter was 2 for 4 and scored the game’s only run on an RBI groundout from Trey Blackman in the second inning. Scott DeCecco (5-3, 8.1 IP, 6 H, 1 ER, 5 K) pitched well but caught the loss for the Spartans (33-20).

 

Big South

In the day’s first game, Patrick Eckelbarger threw a four-hitter as Liberty shut out Campbell. Eckelbarger (6-1, 9 IP, 4 H, BB, 7 K) received some early run support when Alex Close hit a three-run homer in the top of the first for the Flames (40-18). Hector Cedano (7 IP, 5 H, 4 ER, 0 BB, 4 K) pitched well outside of a rocky four-run first inning for the Camels (41-17).

In the third game, Mike Miedzianowski drove in three runs as High Point eliminated Campbell. Miedzianowski (2 for 3) had a two-run single in a three-run fifth inning that helped give the Panthers (28-30) a 7-2 lead. High Point’s Ryan Retz (1 for 4) also drove in three runs. Jaime Schultz (7 IP, 8 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 7 K) picked up the win and improved to 4-3. Jimmy Brenneman, Brent Graham, and Ben McQuown all had two-hit nights for the Camels (41-18).

In Oklahoma City, Evan Mistich had an infield single to score Erik Ross in the bottom of the ninth as Oklahoma beat Baylor for the fourth time this season. Steven Okert (8-6, 2 IP, 1 BB, 2 K) won in relief of Jordan John (7 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 5 K). Cody Reine (2 for 3) homered for the Sooners (37-21). Josh Ludy had two hits and a run for the Bears (43-13).

 

Jeff Emens retired 11 of the 12 batters he faced as Missouri edged Texas A&M. Emens struck out six in 3.2 innings to earn his third save, preserving the win for Blake Holovach (7-4, 5.1 IP, 8 H, 3 R, 1 BB, 3 K). Blake Brown homered for the Tigers (30-26). Mitchell Nau drove in three for the Aggies (42-15). Michael Wacha (8-1, 7 IP, 8 H, 4 R, 3 ER, 1 BB, 8 K) suffered his first loss.

 

In the day’s first game, Ross Kivett went 3 for 5 with two RBI as Kansas State eliminated Oklahoma State. The Wildcats (27-30) scored three in the first and third while adding four in the fourth for a 10-3 lead. Hunter Bailey had three hits and three RBI for the Cowboys (32-25).

 

Wes Benjamin and Robert Kahana combined to hold Texas to a pair of runs as Kansas advanced. Benjamin (5-7, 6 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 3 BB, 2 K) took the win, while Kahana (3 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 2 BB, 2 K) earned his second save for the Wildcats (23-33), who took control with a three-run first. Mark Payton doubled and scored for the Longhorns (30-22).

In Harrisonburg, Va., Matt Campbell went 3 for 5 with a homer and two RBI as UNC Wilmington downed VCU. The Seahawks (36-20) scored three in the first, two in the fifth and three in the eighth. Drew Farber had two hits and two RBI for UNCW. Tyler McSwain (9-3, 7.1 IP, 8 H, 2 R, 2 K) earned the victory. Chris Ayers (2 for 5, 2 RBI) and Brent Mikionis (2 for 3) both went deep for the Rams.

 

Nick Ferdinand went 2 for 4 with two runs and three RBI to lead Delaware past Hofstra. The Blue Hens (29-25) scored seven in the third to take a 10-0 lead. Eric Young (6-4, 10 H, 3 R, 1 BB, 7 K) went the distance to record the win. T.J. Thomas had a double and a home run for the Pride (33-21).

Mikionis had three hits, as did Joey Cujas (3 for 5, HR, 2 R, 3 RBI) and Vimael Machin (3 for 5, 3 R, 3 RBI) for the Rams (34-24). Dominic Fratantuono (2 for 2, 2 BB, 3 R, 4 RBI) homered twice and Zach Fisher (2 for 4, 3 RBI) went deep once for the Tigers (27-31).

In Pearl, Miss., Memphis scored two in the seventh and one in the eighth to rally past Rice. T.J. Rich had a RBI single in the eighth to give the Tigers (30-28) the lead. Dan Langfield (7-6, 8 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 3 BB, 7 K) got the win, while Jonathan Van Eaton (1 IP, 1 H, 2 K) notched his eighth save. Austin Kubitza (7-3, 7.2 IP, 7 H, 3 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 8 K) suffered the loss for the Owls (40-16), who scored their two runs in the top of the first.

 

John Frost went 3 for 5 with two runs and three RBI to lead UAB past UCF. The Blazers (30-27) scored 13 in the fifth to put the game away. Keith DePew went 3 for 3 with three runs and two RBI for UAB. Michael Busby (5-4, 6 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 4 K) picked up the win. Nick Carrillo went 2 for 2 with a walk for the Knights (41-15).

 

Austin Roussel had a RBI single in the top of the 10th to lift Southern Miss past Houston. The Cougars (17-35-1) plated a pair in the bottom of the ninth to force the extra frame. Michael Sterling went 4 for 4 two runs and two RBI for the Golden Eagles (31-24). Landon Appling went 5 for 6 with three runs and one RBI for Houston.

In Chicago, John Loeffler went 3 for 5 with a double, two runs and three RBI, and Spencer Mahoney went 2 for 2 with two runs and three RBI as Valparaiso routed Youngstown State to set up a meeting with UIC. Steven Scoby went 4 for 5 with two RBI for the Crusaders (33-22), who scored eight times in the fifth inning to build a 10-1 lead.

 

Alex Grunenwald went 4 for 5 with a double, two homers, four runs and five RBI as UIC routed Wright State. The Flames (21-32) scored four times in the second inning and nine more in the third – five players had three or more hits for UIC, including Jon Ryan, who went 3 for 5 with two runs and four RBI. Wright State (36-20) falls into the losers’ bracket.

 

Jonathan Capasso went 6 for 6 with a homer, three runs and four RBI, and Luke Meeteer went 5 for 6 with his first homer, two runs and four RBI as Milwaukee eliminated Butler. The Panthers (27-26) pounded out 27 hits (in 49 at-bats) and blew the game open with a 10-run third inning. Jimmy Risi hit his 12th homer for the Bulldogs (22-34).

In Troy, N.Y., Tyler Smith tossed a complete game as Rider knocked off top-seeded Manhattan on the first day of the MAAC tourney. Smith (5-5) allowed six hits and four runs with three walks and four strikeouts. Brandon Cotton had a two-run homer in a three-run sixth for the Broncs (22-32). Brendan Slattery went 2 for 4 with a homer and two RBI for the Jaspers (29-25).

 

In the second game, Jose Torralba had a RBI single in the bottom of the ninth as Canisius edged Fairfield. Jimmy Luppens had two hits and one RBI for the Golden Griffins (32-25). Jon Fitzsimmons (3-1, 0.2 IP, 1 K) earned the win after starter Garrett Cortright (5 H, 1 R, 2 BB, 6 K) pitched eight strong innings. Jack Giannini went 1 for 4 with one RBI for the Stags (27-27).

George Roberts had a grand slam in an eight-run ninth as Kent State topped Western Michigan. T.J. Sutton went 4 for 6 with two RBI for the Golden Flashes (39-17). Jared Kujawa had two hits and one run, while Troy Forton homered for the Broncos (26-28).

 

Kevin Bower had a RBI single in the top of the 10th as Miami edged Eastern Michigan. Mac Thoreson (7-3, 9 IP, 2 H, 1 UE, 1 BB, 6 K) was superb on the mound in earning the win, while Matt Rosinski fanned two in the bottom of the 10th for save No. 10 for the Redhawks (30-27). Steve Weber (7-5, 10 IP, 9 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 5 K) went the distance for the Eagles (25-30).

 

William Arnold drove in a pair, including a sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth to snap a 3-3 tie as Central Michigan nipped Toledo. The Chippewas (31-28) scored three in the top of the first, while the Rockets (30-27) tallied two in the sixth and one in the seventh.

 

Alex Baldock had a game-winning RBI double in the bottom of the 10th as Buffalo edged Ohio. Baldock and Tom Murphy both homered with two RBI for the Bulls (19-35). Logan Cozart had two hits, including a homer, and three RBI for the Bobcats (28-29).

 

MVC

In Springfield, Mo., Jake Peter went 4 for 4 with two RBI as Creighton earned a spot in the MVC title game with its win over Illinois State. Mike Gerber drove in three for the Bluejays (25-28), who broke open a close game with five in the eighth. Chad Hinshaw had two hits and two RBI for the Redbirds (33-19).

 

Brian Bajer’s sacrifice fly in the top of the 10th lifted Southern Illinois past Missouri State and into the championship game. Bajer finished with two hits for the Salukis (31-27). Keenen Maddox had two hits, including a homer, and two RBI for the Bears (39-20).

 

Chad Hinshaw homered in the top of the 10th as Illinois State eliminated Evansville (32-27) earlier in the day.

 

Dylan Becker had a sacrifice fly in the top of the 13th and Luke Voit followed with a two-run single as Missouri State eliminated Bradley. Voit finished with five hits and five RBI. Jason Leblebijan drove in three for the Braves (27-27-1).

 

Mountain West

In Las Vegas, Brett Johnson's looping single over a drawn-in infield capped a crazy ninth inning that saw TCU blow a 10-run lead only to score two runs in the bottom half for the walk-off win in the Mountain West Conference Tournament. In a wild, crazy game, The Horned Frogs (36-17) and the Aztecs (24-33) combined for 30 hits and 31 runs. Stefan Crichton (8-2) picked up the win after throwing 0.2 innings of shutout baseball to cap a wild ninth. Justin Hepner (4-3) took the tough loss after giving up two runs on four hits in just 0.1 innings for SDSU. Derek Odell went 4 for 5 with two RBI for TCU. Jomel Torres went 2 for 4 with five RBI for SDSU.

 

Austin House (7-5) pitched a six-hit shutout with seven strikeouts as New Mexico claimed a win over UNLV. The Lobos (34-22) erupted for nine runs on 10 hits in the second inning to break the game wide open against the Rebels (26-30). The Lobos used five double plays to hold UNLV at bay. Erick Fedde (6-5) took the loss after giving up 10 runs on 10 hits in just 1.1 innings. DJ Peterson only had one hit, but he drove five runs for UNM.

 

Ohio Valley

In Jackson, Tenn., Trenton Moses had a RBI single to cap a three-run eighth as Southeast Missouri upset Austin Peay. Kody Campbell had three hits and a run, while Kenton Parmley homered for the Redhawks (23-34). Shae Simmons (7-4, 8 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 5 BB, 5 K) earned the victory, while Ryan Prickett (1 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 3 BB, 2 K) picked up his third save. Greg Bachman had two hits and one RBI for the Govs (34-22).

 

Ryan Dineen homered and drove in four as Eastern Illinois thumped Eastern Kentucky. T.J. McManus had three hits, including two doubles, and two RBI, while Ben Thoma also went deep for the Panthers (28-27). Troy Barton (9-5, 6.2 IP, 6 H, 1 UE, 4 BB, 7 K) earned the victory. In Hoover, Ala., Riley Reynolds had a two-run triple in the fourth as Vanderbilt edged Florida to advance to the SEC semifinals. Preston Tucker had a sacrifice fly in the seventh for the lone run for the Gators (41-17).

 

Thomas McCarthy went 4 for 5 with three doubles, three runs and one RBI as Kentucky advanced to the semifinals with a win over Mississippi State. Jerad Grundy (5-3, 6 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 2 BB, 9 K) got the win, while Alex Phillips (3 IP, 1 BB, 2 K) earned his seventh save. Hunter Renfroe had two hits for the Bulldogs (36-22).

 

Jordy Snikeris had a two-run double in a five-run eighth and added a two-run homer in the ninth as LSU pulled away from Ole Miss. Tyler Hanover went 4 for 5 with two runs for the Tigers (43-15). Kevin Gausman (10-1, 7 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 1 BB, 7 K) registered the win. Auston Bousfield went 3 for 4 with two doubles, one run and one RBI for the Rebels (35-24).

 

Adam Matthews went 3 for 4 with two RBI as South Carolina eliminated Auburn. Michael Roth (6-1, 6.1 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 5 K) received the win, while Matt Price (2.2 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 4 K) recorded his 10th save. Ryan Tella went 2 for 4 with a double and one run for the Tigers (31-28).

In Greenville, S.C., Brandon Miller hit two, two-run homers, and Christiaan Durdaller drove in a pair of runs as Samford knocked off Appalachian State. The Bulldogs (37-21) advance to Saturday’s semifinal, where they will need one win in two chances against the Appy State/Furman winner to reach the title game for the second straight year. Miller’s two homers gave him the national lead with 22. Trey Holmes homered and drove in two for the Mountaineers (39-15).

 

T.D. Davis had a grand slam in the fifth inning, and Justin Hess allowed one run and struck out seven in six strong innings as Georgia Southern beat The Citadel in a winners’ bracket game. The Eagles (32-26) have gotten strong pitching in their first two games and explosive offense, outscoring opponents 27-3 in two games. Joe Jackson went 2 for 4 with a run for the Bulldogs (25-32).

 

Earlier, Ryan Kinsella went 4 for 6 with five RBI, and Jake Luce went 3 for 5 with three runs as Elon eliminated College of Charleston, putting the Cougars back on the NCAA tourney bubble. The Phoenix (32-25) scored twice in the first and four times in the second off Josh Renfro – all six runs were unearned – a day after being routed 19-2. Alex Swim contributed a double and three RBI for Elon. Brandon Murray and Marty Gantt each had four hits and three RBI for the Cougars (37-20). Trailing 14-9, Charleston’s first five batters in the ninth reached, but Nate Young was able to pick up his 11th save.

 

Alex Abrams’ bouncer up the middle scored Will Muzika with the game-winning run as Furman ended Western Carolina’s season. Will Miller went 3 for 3 with a pair of walks, two runs and three stolen bases for the Paladins (27-30), who face the Appy State/Samford loser. Julian Ridings went 3 for 4 and Aaron Attaway drove in three for the Catamounts (32-24).

In San Marcos, Texas, Ben Hernandez had a two-run single in the fourth to help break open a close game, and Dylan Hills tossed a career-best 4.1 innings of relief as Southeastern Louisiana beat Texas State. The Lions (38-19) scored six of their runs with two outs and took advantage of five errors by the Bobcats (32-23).

 

Greg McCall went 2 for 5 with a homer and three RBI, and Preston Beck (right) also drove in three runs as UT Arlington beat Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in a winners’ bracket game. Earlier in the day, Luke Plucheck and Kevin Miller homered as part of a five-run sixth inning as Sam Houston avoided elimination. Justin Jackson (8-4) was the beneficiary of the outburst and tossed a complete game with five hits, one unearned run and six strikeouts.

 

Bobby Loveless blasted two homers and drove in five as Stephen F. Austin eliminated Central Arkansas. Hunter Dozier went 2 for 4 with a homer and two RBI as the Lumberjacks (24-32) scored four times in the eighth inning to pull away from a close game.

In Tulsa, Okla., Oral Roberts scored a pair in the bottom of the eighth in edging Southern Utah. Jose Trevino had a RBI double to tie the game and scored on a base hit by Cam Schiller (2 for 4) to take the lead. Drew Bowen (6-2, 8 IP, 8 H, 1 UE, 6 K) got the win, while Joe Spring got the final three outs for his second save. Mitchell Kauweloa had three hits for the Thunderbirds (18-35).

 

Max Casper had a RBI single in the top of the 11th as North Dakota State nipped Oakland. Tim Colwell went 4 for 6 with a run, while Nick Anderson homered for the Bison (39-18). Jake Morton had two hits for the Grizzlies (24-30).

Conference Player of the Year Jeremy Sy hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the 13th to end a wild, back-and-forth affair with Florida Atlantic. Judd Edwards went 4 for 6 with three runs and a RBI, and Corben Green went 3 for 4 with a homer and three RBI for ULM. Nathan Pittman homered and drove in three, and Mike Albaladejo had two hits and two RBI for the Owls. FAU coach John McCormack was ejected during the game.

 

Tyler Ray allowed six hits and one earned run with five strikeouts in a complete game as Troy beat FIU in the first game for both teams in Pool B play. With the game tied at 1, the Trojans scored three times in the top of the eighth. Danny Collins, who earlier had homered, doubled in a run after Logan Pierce doubled in a run. Jakob Nixon then homered to cap the inning.

 

In the late game, Andrew Fonzi yielded three runs in 7.1 innings as South Alabama knocked off Western Kentucky. Jordan Patterson went 3 for 4 with two runs, and J.T. Files, who entered the game as a pinch-hitter and caught the rest of the way, went 2 for 2 with a homer and a pair of RBI for the Jaguars (22-34). Devin Kelly had a two-run homer in the ninth for the Hilltoppers (24-33).

In Mesa, Ariz., Taylor Terrasas went 2 for 4 with two RBI as Louisiana Tech beat Hawaii in the WAC Tournament. The Bulldogs (25-27) beat the higher-seeded Rainbows (30-25) after they put on a hitting display by tallying up 17 hits. Phil Maton (8-5) picked up the win after giving up two earned runs on seven hits over 6.1 innings with six strikeouts and no walks. Matt Sisto (8-4) took the loss after allowing five runs on nine hits in just two innings. Kaeo Aliviado went 2 for 5 with two RBI for Hawaii.

 

Rhys Hoskins went 2 for 4 with three RBI for Sacramento State as it rolled in a big win over Nevada. The Hornets (30-26) pounded out 19 hits which led to 15 runs in their win over the Wolf Pack (32-24). Tyler Hoelzen (3-1) picked up the win after throwing 2.1 shutout innings, while Colby Blueberg (1-3) took the loss after giving up two runs on two hits in 0.2 innings of relief. Austin Byler went 3 for 4 with three RBI for Nevada.

 

Trent Garrison led an offensive barrage for Fresno State as he went 3 for 4 with two runs and four RBI against New Mexico State. The Bulldogs (27-25) now own a 24-3 record in the WAC Tournament since 2006 after their win over the Aggies (35-21). Justin Haley (7-3) picked up the win after striking out four and giving up six runs on eight hits in 5.2 innings. Ryan Beck (5-6) took the loss after surrendering two earned runs on eight hits in just 1.1 innings. Kurt Snowley went 2 for 4 with two RBI for NMSU.
