Midseason update

Hi everyone. Well we’re midway through the season and I'm going to blog more often.

I've been busy with five games a week and an internship here at State.

We are heading to UVA this weekend, who is currently #1 in the nation. After a rough sweep in Miami we bounced back this past weekend and swept the UNC Tar Heels, putting ourselves in a good position for the ACC tourney and a regional.

The team is starting to play consistently. Our pitching is doing a good job and the hitting is where we think it should be. Recently, we have been putting the two together and are currently on a five-game win streak.

School is winding down for us and a lot of guys have tests and papers due next week. Tons of books and laptops are coming with us to UVA. But, looking at UVA, we know what we have ahead of us and feel good going into this weekend. Taking one game at a time, one inning at a time, is our goal this weekend and we’re looking forward to the challenge.

I'll be back next week to recap the weekend.

Go Pack!
