Texas is first in two more
national polls
The Texas Longhorns took the top spot in both the
National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA)
Preseason Poll and the Rivals.com Preseason Poll.
The national runner-up from a season ago, Texas
has been first in all the national preseason polls, including
the CBI Composite Preseason Poll.
Defending national champion LSU was second in the
NCBWA poll and third in the Rivals poll. Virginia was No. 2 for
Rivals and No. 3 for the NCBWA.
Cal State Fullerton placed fourth in both polls.
Rice checked in at No. 5 in the NCBWA poll, while UC Irvine took
fifth for Rivals.
