Texas A&M, a Super Regional participant the past two years, has earned the No. 1 ranking in Baseball America's preseason poll. The Aggies haven't been ranked No. 1 by Baseball America since 1999, the last time they made it to the College World Series.

Texas A&M was joined in the top 10 by Big 12 rivals Texas (No. 4), Baylor (8) and Missouri (10). The other teams in the top 10 are LSU (2), North Carolina (3), Cal State Fullerton (5), Ole Miss (6), Rice (7) and UC Irvine (9).

Also of note, Kent State checks in at No. 18.
