Trick or Tr'Eaters

The UC Irvine baseball team offers a free day of baseball and Halloween entertainment on Saturday, Oct. 31, beginning at 11 a.m. at Cicerone Field at Anteater Ballpark.

The Third Annual ‘Eaters Costume Party features UCI players in costumes that they will wear in a scrimmage. The photo above is from the 2008 event.

The first 50 kids in costume will be invited to join the team in the dugout for the entire practice. Admission is free and candy will be given at the door. Kids will be invited to run the bases following the scrimmage.

All players and coaches will be in costume. They will stick around after the scrimmage for an autograph session.

The Anteaters were ranked No. 1 in the final regular-season poll and hosted UCI’s first NCAA Regional at Cicerone Field at Anteater Ballpark. UCI returns 11 starters, including seven All-Big West Conference selections.
