North Carolina-LSU Game Suspended

Tar Heels and Tigers to play Friday evening

OMAHA, Neb. – Thursday’s North Carolina-LSU game has been suspended.

 

The Tar Heels had two runs in and the bases loaded with one out in the top of the first. The game will be resumed on Friday at 7 p.m. ET. Friday’s schedule will be moved to Saturday, with Georgia playing Stanford at 2 p.m. ET and the UNC-LSU winner facing Fresno State at 7 p.m. ET. Sunday will be the “if necessary” games and the Championship Series will begin on Monday at 7 p.m. ET.

 

The delay on Thursday was 3:05 before the game was suspended.
