Notes: Cal State Fullerton boasts one of the most decorated baseball histories at the Division I level. Former head coach and current Texas coach Augie Garrido is the winningest coach in the NCAA and the Titans have won four national championships (1979, 1984, 1995, 2004). In 45 years at the Division I level, the Titans have reached the CWS 29 times, and are currently riding an active streak of 17 consecutive postseason appearances, the fourth-longest in the nation. The Titans have groomed 10 first-round draft picks 45 current and former major leaguers. Head coach Dave Serrano took over the team this season after former Titan George Horton left to start up the baseball program at Oregon. Serrano shocked the college baseball world and Orange County as well when he left rival UC Irvine after taking them to the school’s first-ever College World Series last summer.
