Road Trip Returns!

Several years ago, we did a feature called Road Trip, where we came up with imaginary college baseball trips we would like to take. Well, we’re going to make it a reality this year.

I am out West for a weekend of baseball. On Thursday, I will watch top-ranked Arizona State take on No. 8 Michigan in the Coca-Cola Classic at Winkles Field-Packard Stadium at Brock Ballpark in Tempe, Ariz. (pictured right) On Friday, I’m heading to Southern California to watch San Diego State’s Tournament. At 10 am, I’ll watch Cal Poly and No. 18 San Diego. In the early afternoon, I’ll watch either California against No. 12 Missouri or Fresno State against San Diego. In the evening, I’ll see Missouri and San Diego State do battle in Tony Gwynn Stadium. On Saturday, I’ll head north to watch San Francisco at UC Irvine. Sunday’s finale will be No. 14 UCLA at USC.
