The Tigers put together winning streaks of 11 and 15 games this season against ACC opponents and head into Super Regionals as winners of 23 of their past 25 games. The Tigers have reached the Super Regionals six of the eight years of the format and have hosted three times - they have reached Omaha the previous two times they have hosted. Six Clemson players received All-ACC Tournament honors including tournament MVP Tyler Colvin who is currently riding a 23-game hit streak. The Tigers boast a pitching staff that ranked fourth in the nation in ERA heading into tournament weekend. Opposing hitters hit only .240 off the Tigers. Josh Cribb earned first team All-ACC honors after posting a perfect 9-0 record this season. Head coach Jack Leggett was honored with his third ACC Coach of the Year award (1994, 1995). His teams have won 50 games in six of his 13 seasons. Travis Storrer missed the Regionals with an injury. His return is uncertain. Clemson has faced Oral Roberts once in its history, beating the Golden Eagles 8-5 to win a Regional.
