FSU dropped a game to Georgia Tech on the last day of the ACC tourney in which Daniel Hodges allowed six runs (five unearned) in the ninth inning. He had allowed five runs all year to that point. Eddy Martinez-Esteve did not play in the tournament, as he’s still hampered by an injured hamstring. He hasn’t started since April 25. The Seminoles have a staff ERA of 2.72 and have three stud starters in Daniel Davidson, Trent Peterson and Matt Lynch. Stephen Drew is one of the best all-around players in the country, and could be the best shortstop in the land. Tony Richie is a machine behind the plate and has a cannon for an arm. Richie and Blake Balkcom were named to the ACC all-tourney team.
