Staff Openings



Coaches and prospective coaches have asked us in the past to have a page to advertise staff openings. We will include full-time assistants, volunteer assistants, graduate assistants and directors of operations. We will include all levels of college baseball for these openings, whether Division I, II, or III, NAIA, junior college or community college. Danville Dans: Member of the Prospect League in Danville, Ill., currently accepting applications to fill position of Pitching Coach. Stipend and housing and camps and lessons are all available. Main role will be aspects of coaching pitchers. Ability to throw batting practice is a must. Season runs after Memorial Day till middle of August. Albany Dutchmen: summer collegiate baseball team in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL), located in upstate New York, is searching for a highly motivated hitting coach for the 2015 season. The season will approximately run from a report date of 5/31 - 8/8 (last possible playoff date). This candidate must have previous college or professional experience and NO affiliation during the summer months with a NCAA institution. The duties of this candidate includes but aren’t limited to leading all offensive players on a daily basis, coordinate early work and daily workouts, ability to throw BP, eager to assist in camps provided by the organization as well as represent the Dutchmen throughout the tri-city area through various community service events. Georgia College: Assistant Baseball Coach opportunity for the Spring 2015 Season. Primary role in this position requires coaching outfielders and also assisting in all areas of offensive and defensive game and practice planning.  Ability to throw quality batting practice is a must.  Ability to breakdown video for skill instruction and scouting purposes a plus.  Candidate must have a strong work ethic, demonstrate organizational skills and show the ability to communicate effectively.  Housing provided until July 1 and a small stipend available.  Start date would be Jan. 6. Bloomsburg University. NCAA Division II member of the PSAC conference is looking for a graduate assistant. This person will be responsible for the management and development of the pitching staff. This coach will conduct workouts using an organized plan and motivate pitchers to facilitate their athletic development. He will accumulate data and submit reports detailing pitching efficiency. He will assist in the recruitment of student-athletes. He will participate in the organization and execution of camps and clinics. The graduate assistant will strive to work in compliance with all NCAA and conference guidelines. A bachelor’s degree is required and the candidate must be accepted into one of Bloomsburg University’s graduate programs. The candidate must have played intercollegiate baseball and/or professional baseball. A Stipend and waiver of tuition is available. Campbellsville: NAIA member of the Mid-South Conference is currently accepting resumes to fill the position of volunteer assistant  Baseball coach.  Primary role in this position would be Head JV Baseball Coach and also assisting in all areas of the Varsity program.  Duties for this position include, but are limited to: JV Scheduling, travel, inventory, practice, game management and assisting Varsity in all phases.  This position will be a great opportunity for someone looking to break into coaching collegiate baseball.  There will be no stipend for this position; however, money may be available through camps and lessons.  It will be acceptable for the individual hired for this position to leave and coach summer baseball elsewhere.   Please send a resume with references listed to Assistant Baseball Coach Brad Neffendorf at (posted Nov. 18)


Saugerties Stallions: Member of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) in Saugerties, New York, currently accepting applications to fill the position of pitching coach.  Summer stipend is $2,000, with housing and some meals included.  Primary role will be in all aspects of coaching the pitchers.  Ability to throw batting practice is a must. Candidate must possess at least one year of coaching college baseball.  Position will stay open until filled.  Please send a resume with at least three references to Field Manager Matt Burns at (posted Oct. 16)


Kokomo: Inviting applications for assistant coach and pitching coach for a new college summer baseball team out of Kokomo, Indiana, that is entering the Prospect League. The Prospect League is a college summer baseball league in the Midwest that stretches from as far west as Hannibal, Missouri, to as far east as Butler, Pennsylvania. The league plays a 60-game schedule that begins after Memorial Day and ends after the first week in August. Pay is between $3,000-$3,500 for the summer. Job responsibilities include assisting in the daily functions of a college summer baseball team. At least one year of college coaching experience required. Haysville Avaitors: Hitting Coach for Jayhawk League squad, $1,000 stipend, food & housing fully provided. Will manage the hitters on a daily basis and work with them to improve their skills. Will coach either 1st or 3rd base during the game. Ability to work with OFs is preferred. One year of coaching at the college level is required.
