Staff Openings

 

 

Coaches and prospective coaches have asked us in the past to have a page to advertise staff openings. We will include full-time assistants, volunteer assistants, graduate assistants and directors of operations. We will include all levels of college baseball for these openings, whether Division I, II, or III, NAIA, junior college or community college. Please email announcements to staff@collegebaseballinsider.com and we will post as quickly as we can. Please include contact information and deadlines, when applicable.

 

Strasburg Express: A member of the historic Valley Baseball League, is currently accepting applications for the Hitting Coach/First Base Coach position this 2014 summer. The candidate must be available from May 26 until August 7 (last day of playoffs). Candidate’s duties are to work with the hitters on a daily basis, throwing quality BP, assist the head coach with daily operations of field work and operations of the Express organization. Collegiate coaching experience is required and summer ball experience is preferred but not needed. Candidate must have a strong work ethic, demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively. A salary stipend of $1,500.00 as well as housing (host family) is available while here for the summer, along with the possibility to give lessons at First Bank Park daily. Hoptown Hoppers: summer baseball team in the Ohio Valley League looking for an Assistant Baseball Coach. Need to have college coaching experience with either hitters or pitchers. Must be able to throw BP. Position comes with Housing, Meals, and a Stipend with a possibility for lessons at our indoor facility. The Alamo Academy: We are an all indoor baseball and softball academy in beautiful Corpus Christi, Texas. We are looking for a lead pitching coach for our private lessons/camp director for our baseball and softball summer camps. It is a full-time position. Must have played collegiate baseball. Geneva Red Wings: summer baseball in the New York Collegiate League (NYCBL). We are looking to hire a hitting/3rd base coach for the 2014 summer. The candidate must be available from June 1 until August 5. Duties are to work with the hitters on a daily basis and throwing quality BP is a must. Collegiate coaching experience is required and summer ball experience is preferred. Candidate must have a strong work ethic, demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Plymouth Pilgrims: in their second season in the New England Collegiate Baseball League. We are looking to hire a hitting/3rd base coach for the 2014 summer. The candidate must be available from June 2 until August 12(last day of possible playoffs). Duties are to work with the hitters on a daily basis and throwing quality BP is a must. Some minor fieldwork and camp duties may also be required. Collegiate coaching experience is required and summer ball experience is preferred. Candidate must have a strong work ethic, demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Dartmouth College: An NCAA member of the Ivy League, currently accepting applications to fill the position of volunteer assistant coach either in mid-late January 2014, or by late May-June 1, 2014 according to qualifications and availability. This is a non-paid volunteer position. Primary duties will include, but are not limited to: practice and game facility preparation, camp responsibilities, on campus recruiting, along with on field practice and game responsibilities as assigned. Candidate must have a strong work ethic, demonstrated organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively. Gem City Baseball Association - Gem City Thunder - Head Coach. Summer collegiate baseball program in Laramie, WY. The GCBA is a new, non-profit baseball association. The mission of the Gem City Baseball Association is to facilitate a community-sponsored competitive collegiate summer baseball team that will provide affordable family entertainment, mentoring for local youth baseball programs, create and participate in community service projects, and foster skills development for participating athletes  who will return to compete in their various national collegiate baseball programs. The head coach will recruit athletes from collegiate programs in the US who will be excited to participate with their summer team in completing the mission of the association. The GCBA will compete as an independent team for the 2014 season, scheduling competition with teams from the Mountain Collegiate Baseball League, the Rocky Mountain Baseball League, and other Rocky Mountain region leagues. Salary will be commensurate with experience and available funding expected in the range of $3000.00 to $5000.00. Position open until filled with ideal hire date by November 15, 2013. Interested applicants should email resume, references, and letter of interest to GemCityBaseball@hotmail.com.
