The 2010 Academic All-District Baseball Teams have been released through the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). click here for teams

The 25 quarterfinalists have been announced by the College Baseball Foundation for the 2010 Pitcher of the Year Award. Texas led all teams with three pitchers on the list: Cole Green, Chance Ruffin (right) and Brandon Workman. Coastal Carolina (Anthony Meo, Cody Wheeler) and UCLA (Trevor Bauer, Gerrit Cole) both have two pitchers on the list. click here for full list

The 25 quarterfinalists have been announced by the College Baseball Foundation for the Brooks Wallace Shortstop of the Year Award. There are three players each from the ACC, Big 12 and SEC on the list. click here for full list

The College Baseball Foundation released the names of the 25 players on the watch list for the 2010 John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year Award. Cal State Fullerton has two players on the list: Tyler Pill and Nick Ramirez. Danny Hultzen from Virginia is also on the Pitcher of the Year Award watch list. Sam Roberts from VMI is also on the Brooks Wallace Shortstop of the Year Award watch list. click here for full list

Thanks to Tami Cutler in the Wichita State Athletic Media Relations Office, we have attendance figures for Division I through Sunday, May 9. LSU is averaging 10,658 fans after 35 home dates, followed by Arkansas (7,455), Ole Miss (6,821), South Carolina (6,592) and Texas (6,397) and Mississippi State (6,074). click here for attendance figures
