Ferrell Leads Preseason All-America Team

TCU reliever Riley Ferrell was projected as the National Player of the Year as Collegiate Baseball released its Preseason All-America Team.

Ferrell went 3-1 a season ago with 15 saves and a 0.79 ERA in helping the Horned Frogs reach the College World Series.

Teammate and starting pitcher Preston Morrison (9-4, 1.32 ERA) joined Ferrell on the All-America First Team.

Defending national champion Vanderbilt had three players on the All-America First Team: pitchers Carson Fulmer (7-1, 10 saves, 1.98 ERA) and Walker Buehler (12-2, 2.64) as well as shortstop Dansby Swanson (.333, 27 2B, 22 SB).
