College World Series Game No. 10 postponed

OMAHA, Neb. – The College World Series elimination game between Kent State and No. 8 South Carolina has been postponed due to inclement weather.

Rain began in the late afternoon and stopped before a second storm hit around 8:30 p.m. CT, forcing the postponement.

The game has been rescheduled for Thursday, June 21, at 11 a.m. CT and will be televised on ESPN2.

Arizona and No. 3 Florida State will play on Thursday at 4 p.m. CT, while the winner of the Kent State-South Carolina contest returns to face Arkansas at 8 p.m. CT.

If Arizona or Arkansas wins on Thursday, that team will advance to the CWS championship series. If either loses, that team must play again on Friday to determine the championship series participant.
